I’m Fatima-Zahra, I'm a mother of two and I teach Hypnobirthing, Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga and Yoga. I am deeply committed to supporting you to uncover your power and this underpins all my teaching. My aim is to support you to step into the driver's seat of your life, your birth and parenthood!
I have always been a teacher at heart and I will forever be a student. My life experiences in the corporate world and in motherhood and parenting as well as my work with expectant parents inform my teaching and keep it grounded.
Yoga showed me a way to heal, calm and self-regulate both in the busyness of corporate life in the City of London as well as in pregnancy and motherhood. Whether it is a breath technique, a mindfulness and gratitude practice, a pose or an affirmation, these tools are a daily source for stepping into the driver seat of your life.
I qualified as a yoga teacher with Katy Appleton of appleyoga (200hr). Then, as I was pregnant with my first, I qualified as a pregnancy yoga teacher with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli. The teachings of Yoga as applied to life and motherhood were invaluable and life changing. However, it was during my second pregnancy that I truly stepped up to gain control of my birth experience. I learned (and diligently practiced) hypnobirthing and had a very positive second birth. The experience was so transformative that I qualified as a KGHypnobirthing teacher (HbDip-KGH) to be able to share the joy of birth. I am passionate about Perinatal Mental Health and it is important to me to teach from a trauma informed lens (Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate with The Embody Lab, 2022).
I am a Make Birth Better Champion.
“Whenever and however you give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life.”

Pregnancy yoga provides a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment to support you towards a positive and comfortable pregnancy and birth. You will practice focused breath work, mindful movement and appropriate postures and stretches to support your body as it changes.
Postnatal yoga is the perfect way to care for yourself and fill up your cup as you take time out from your nurturing role. Mindful breathing, meditation, restorative poses and relaxation techniques will help alleviate tiredness, offering rejuvenation and practical tools for your daily life as a mother.
What they say
"I think lots of people can teach a yoga class in a physical sense, but very few can so perfectly teach a pregnancy yoga class"
“Fatima is a very special person. I did not realise how lucky we were with her until she was gone! She gave us an hour each week that completely revived us. I think lots of people can teach a yoga class in a physical sense, but very few can so perfectly teach a pregnancy yoga class. I only realised when I tried out two new teachers after Fatima left, how special she is. She has helped me during two pregnancies now more than she can imagine. I would say she kept me sane and enhanced my whole experience, with her classes as my anchor during each week of my pregnancy. She clearly has a special spirit and is able to somehow understand what you need to hear and how you need to be treated at this sometimes vulnerable, tiring, emotional, sometimes stressful time of a woman’s life. And it never felt like she was pushing any particular pathway on you, but sensitively made sure she was serving us as much information and support as we might need. Thank you for everything and I hope you find lots of new clients in your new location, they will all be very lucky to have you!”
